Rexhep Rizani

Hello, everyone, it’s nice to meet you! My name is Rexhep Rizani, and I’m a 30-year-old Albanian-American from an immigrant family. I’m a 2nd year graduate student in the mental health counseling program at Manhattan College. Over the past year, I have worked with adolescents, helping them overcome social-emotional learning issues and at-risk students. Working in a school setting has taught me a lot, and I’m now eager to see how I can help a different population through private practice. I welcome anyone who is motivated to change and overcome their issues. I believe therapy should be tailored to the individual, as everyone is different. Therefore, I will work with my clients to develop treatment plans to help them grow and prosper. I primarily use trauma-focused CBT and DBT therapeutic experiences, but I’m always open to learning new modalities to expand my clinical toolkit. I’m excited to meet and help anyone who wants to learn and grow.
